Dr. Santiago
Dr. Santiago's path to Plastic Surgery began in medical school during a professor's lecture who spoke about the life transformations he was able to achieve in his patients.
Upon graduation from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York, NY), he joined the US Navy to train in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, where he learned how to reconstruct some of the most severe war injuries sustained by Sailors, Marines and US Navy SEALS.
This experience led him to pursue further training in the Johns Hopkins Department of Plastic Surgery where he completed fellowship training operating on patients from around the world.
His expertise has been sought out at both national and international plastic surgery meetings where he has been invited to speak about his innovative techniques. He is the author of multiple peer-reviewed academic papers and book chapters published in the Plastic Surgery Literature.
Dr. Santiago combines his extensive experience garnered from both military and civilian plastic surgery to provide his patients with life transforming results.
He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Society of Neuroplastic and Reconstructive Surgery
